The included side-mounted 104-inch aluminum antenna uses dual mounts for extra rigidity to resist bending and stays vertical even in the strongest of winds for optimum transmission. The Procaster AM Transmitter's lightweight design makes for an easy install and light mast loading. Performance of the Procaster AM Transmitter exceeds most AM radio receivers. It has a built-in PLL quartz synthesizer, and you can choose from multiple broadcast channel frequencies from 1290-1710 KHz. This allows you to select the quietest channel in your listening area for best range without having to order different crystals. The Procaster AM Transmitter also includes a built-in audio processor. The Procaster AM Transmitter's sound dynamics can be easily tailored to suit your listening preference. It has a built-in tuning meter as well; forget about complicated jumper selection and calculations. Tuning the antenna is a snap with the built-in tuning meter. Provides up to 2 mile range! Typical range is 1/2 to 2 miles depending on local conditions such as obstructions, trees and ground conductivity.

The Procaster AM Transmitter has an automatic power control system that leaves no need to get technical trying to calculate and adjust the power to meet FCC legal requirements. The power control system automatically adjusts for varying weather conditions and maintains maximum permitted power. The Procaster AM Transmitter is solar power capable. The entire system has been designed to run on 12 volts and uses just over 1 watt for the basic transmitter system.
